Grenade Tactician is messy in the best way

You're firing crossbow skills, throwing out explosions, converting damage, and letting grenade scaling carry a lot of the load. It's strong in Solo Self-Found because the build doesn't beg for one rare unique before it turns on. A good weapon helps, sure, but the core damage comes from gems, scaling, and positioning. For players who like ranged combat but don't want to feel fragile, this one has a lot going for it.
Bleed and minions are back on the menu
Melee players haven't been left out either. Bleed Gladiator Warrior is getting more respect because damage over time gives you room to breathe. You hit, apply the bleed, move away, and let the enemy lose the trade. That matters when bosses punish greedy uptime. Boneshatter and slam routes also make sense during leveling because they scale in a straightforward way. On the other side of the tree, Infernalist and Witch minion builds are doing what summoners always do when the game gets rough: they make things calmer. Minions take pressure off you, block threats, and let you focus on not walking into danger. It's not glamorous every second, but it works.
Stable starters are shaping the new Atlas
Hammer of the Gods Ignite Titan is another pick that keeps coming up in theorycraft circles. It's slower than the flashier projectile builds, but it has a rhythm many players enjoy. Big hit, big ignite, reposition, repeat. The appeal is that ignite doesn't care much about attack speed, and Titan gives enough toughness to make early mapping feel less stressful. That seems to be the real story of 0.5. People are choosing builds around how they want to farm, not just raw damage clips. Some want dense map clear. Some want safer bosses. Some just want a starter that won't collapse without cheap cheap PoE2 Items in the first few days, and this patch gives them more honest choices than before.
